I stayed at Toyoko INN Narita Airport New Building in a single room!
Located about 15 minutes from Narita Airport by shuttle bus, this hotel is very convenient if you want to stay the night before your flight.
Despite recent price increases, you can stay from around ¥6,000 per night, which is quite reasonable compared with other nearby hotels.
My stay at Toyoko INN Narita Airport New Building – Single Room
When I flew to Ho Chi Minh City with Vietnam Airlines, I stayed the night before at Toyoko INN Narita Airport New Building.

The room is not particularly spacious, but it is more than enough if you check in at night and leave the next morning.
There is also a desk where you can open your laptop and get some work done.
There is an electric kettle and cups.
The room also has a fridge and a safety box.
You get all the basic amenities you need: a clock, hairdryer, TV, tissues and so on.

There are USB ports and power outlets.
There is no closet, but there is a hanger rack on the wall.
Slippers for use in the room are also provided.

It is a typical Japanese unit bath.
Still, having a bathtub you can soak in is really nice!
The facilities feel a little dated, but everything was clean and well maintained.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are all provided.
This is the lounge area next to the front desk.
There was also a free drink service.
They even had light snacks like bread, which was very much appreciated.
Coin-operated laundry machines are also available.
How to get there from the airport
If you are arriving at Narita Airport by train and then heading to the hotel, the easiest way is to take the shuttle bus from Terminal 2.
From the 1st floor arrivals lobby, go out through the “Central Exit”.
Cross the pedestrian crossing and walk to the left. You will find bus stop 31-B.
A shuttle bus with “Toyoko INN” written on it will come to pick you up.
There is also a space on the bus where you can place your suitcase.
